Buckmasters Expo 2008 A Success!

The 2008 Buckmasters Expo came to a close on Sunday, August 17. It was a buyers show of shows with an attendance of approximately 30,000 eager hunters coming through the doors, bringing 40,867 pounds of food for the Montgomery Area Food Bank with them.

The Expo offered something for everyone – a Young Bucks kids area with games just like the ones seen on "The Jackie Bushman Show," the thrilling Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor World Championship, 300 exhibitor booths offering preseason deals on hunting gear, seminars by renowned hunting experts Michael Waddell, Larry Weishuhn, Lee & Tiffany Lakosky, and Fred Eichler, a members-only concert featuring the Charlie Daniels Band and Johnny Lee, and a wall of whitetail racks scored by certified antler measurers.

We measured roughly 90 whitetail deer heads with about 26 making the record book. Several of these deer will be featured in a later post here.

The fifth edition of the BTR Record Book was unveiled during the Expo. Be sure to go to http://www.buckmasters.com/ and order your copy today. Tell them Jack sent you.
